SilverAnt Outdoors Titanium Cutlery Long Handled Spork Review
Posted by Jaime Purinton on 17th Aug 2021
A couple of weeks ago, we packed up our backpacks and headed out for a leisurely 3-day backpacking trip to Purple Lake out of Mammoth Lakes. It had been almost a whole year since I had been backpacking, and I really needed it! Getting out into nature and sleeping under the stars was what I needed.
I also remembered I had a brand new SILVERANT OUTDOORS Titanium Cutlery Long Handled Spork to test. I was pretty stoked on this piece of gear because I had previously tested their Titanium Screw Top Clip Bottle and loved it. I still have this bottle, and it’s incredible! It’s still like new even though I’ve used it extensively.
To say I’ve tried a bunch of different backpacking cutlery is an understatement. We received many different kinds in the years we subscribed to Cairn boxes. So I know my backcountry cutlery.
What is a must for me is cutlery needs to be durable, ultralight, and have a long handle for digging deep in my Fernweh Food Company dinners (review coming soon). Not only is this spork durable (it has a lifetime guarantee), it’s ultralight at .6 ounces and super long at 9”! It is the perfect backpacking spork.
